Pop Music's most fun awards show went down Sunday night - were you watching?
OMG we got SO much out of this year's iHeartRadio awards! There was an album announcement from Cardi B, a new nickname for Camila Cabello courtesy of Taylor Swift, a strong political stance from Eminem - even a strong performance from Bon Jovi! Who saw all of THAT coming? The iHeart Awards might not be the most prestigious night in music, but it's absolutely one of the most fun. But, just in case you missed this year's show, let's review:
Cardi B might have had the biggest night of all. She opened the show with a medley of her hits, and won the Best New Artist trophy. During her acceptance speech, she revealed that her long-awaited album is due to arrive in April!
Taylor Swift couldn't be there in person to accept Female Artist of The Year, but she did send a heartfelt message thanking her fans, not to mention treating viewers to the premiere of a brand new video for “Delicate."
Camila Cabello grabbed the first-ever iHeartRadio Fangirls Award presented by L'Oreal Paris for her ability to push beyond her naysayers and break boundaries. She also performed "Havana" in the style of Madonna's "Material Girl."
Bon Jovi received the Icon Award, Ariana Grande's dog was presented a trophy for Musician's Cutest Pet, and N.E.R.D. closed the show joined by backup dancers twerking in full glitter bodysuits. Check out the video above for highlights, and watch more clips from the 2018 awards here!
