Rumors have been flying about a possible Cardi B pregnancy since The Super Bowl, when a source claimed she wasn’t partying as hard as usual. Back then Cardi response was totally on brand.

But those rumors just kept ramping up, especially considering her chosen outfits for events like the iHeartRadio awards. They just seemed designed to hide a baby bump. But still, Cardi shot down all the gossip. Just a few days ago she told Apple Music,

"I can't address all the rumors and everything. I have been so open to people about myself. People cannot expect me to open about everything. Certain things, to me, have to be private. You cannot invade my privacy. I'm not a damn animal at the zoo.”

But looky here. Seems like she was finally ready to tell the world – or maybe she just couldn’t hide that bump anymore, but in her appearance on SNL over the weekend, she made a baby announcement in Cardi style. Keeping secrets is rough, and she seems to feel better now!

Critics are already being quick to judge, but can we just let Cardi B live? She’s gonna do her own thing anyway.
