You know who’s a fan of Chris Stapleton? I mean, besides you. And me. And like, everyone (except my friend Colleen’s dad, but he’s wrong). Pink. Pink is a fan of Chris Stapleton. She’s such a fan that she invited Chris to duet with her on a song called “Love Me Anyway” on her latest album Hurts 2B Human. The song is FIRE. So good. Two incredible voices combined to give you goosebumps.

But it gets better.

When Pink played a sold out show at Madison Square Garden in New York, she started the song, and then Chris joined her onstage for their first public performance of it together. Obviously, the crowd went nuts.

She posted a pic on Instagram from the performance, raving about his voice, his songwriting, and his general awesomeness as a person, and what an honor it was to share the stage with him.

I’d just like to go on record saying I need them to come to Nashville and perform this song together. Pink? Chris? What do you say?

Brad Paisley can shred. Anybody who’s ever seen him play guitar knows this, and he’s without question one of the best guitar players in Nashville. And he recently got to jam with a bunch of other guys who know a little something about shredding, but maybe not as much about… Nashville.

It all started when Fender Guitars partnered with HBO for a line of deluxe, built-to-order guitars that represent the three main houses in Game of Thrones. Then they invited these guys to the Fender Custom Shop to play them, and Brad joins Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, Scott Ian from Anthrax, and Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme, along with GOT creater Dan Weiss, and they play a metal guitar arrangement of the show’s theme song composed by GOT’s Ramin Djawadi.

Watch as Brad adds some requested “fairy dust”  with a solo that – let’s face it – impresses the other players.

When Kacey Musgraves does a thing, she doesn’t do it half way. Like, when she puts out an award-winning album like Golden Hour, she wins ALL. THE. AWARDS. Or, like when she goes to the Met Costume Institute benefit gala, where the theme is “Camp: Notes On Fashion.”

Oh, yes. Kacey went all the way camp and all the way Barbie. THIS Barbie, as a matter of fact.

First of all, who even knew there was a Metropolitan Museum of Art version of Barbie? Apparently Kacey and her team did, and they copied the look EXACTLY. The blonde hair, the exact dress, the earrings, the wrap, the sunglasses, and OMG can we talk about the hairdryer purse?!

But Kacey didn’t stop there. Oh, no. Girlfriend rolled up on the gala in a Barbie pink Corvette in a perfect Barbie pose.

It’s not clear whether her driver was Ken.

Needless to say, Kacey Musgraves was the talk of the gala and the internet. I think Twitter might have blown up over her look. But she’s not done.

Kacey just announced she’s signed a modeling contract with IMG Models, and according to this promo video they tweeted, she’s featured in this month’s V magazine music issue.

Check out Kacey's tweet here.

Dan + Shay were all the talk leading up to last night’s Billboard Music Awards. They had seven nominations, including the all genre Duo/Group and Chart Achievement Awards, plus Country Album, Country Artist, two for Country Song (“Tequila” and “Speechless”) and Country Duo/Group. They only won that last one – an honor, to be sure, but a disappointment for their fans.

Turns out Luke Combs was the big country winner. He took home three of the four trophies he was nominated for: Country Artist, Country Male, and Country Album. Carrie Underwood grabbed the Country Female trophy, Kenny Chesney got Country Tour, and Country Song went to Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha for “Meant To Be.”

No worries for Dan + Shay, though. Not only did they rework and perform “Speechless” on the awards show with Tori Kelley, they sang it after the show at a little Vegas wedding chapel where Elvis married Jonas Brother Joe Jonas and Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner. We know this because Diplo had it all on his Instagram, which People grabbed and posted here:

So, congrats to the winners and to the Jonas’s. Jonases? Jonas’? Uh. Congrats to Joe and Sophie.

It was a full house Tuesday night when Carrie Underwood officially inducted Kelsea Ballerini into the Grand Ole Opry. Not only is she the Opry’s newest member, at 25 she’s also the youngest member.

And while that was definitely a highlight in Kelsea’s life and career, this moment that happened backstage before the induction is gonna rank pretty high up there, too:

Congrats on an amazing night, Kelsea!

Picture it: it’s game one of the NHL Playoffs. The Nashville Predators hosting the Dallas Stars. The announcer is using his excited voice to ramp up the crowd as he brings on national anthem singers Big & Rich. There’s just one teensy weensy snafu when he does.

You heard him right: he called them “gender-bending.” We’re pretty sure he meant “genre-bending,” which is a whole ‘nother thing. Because as far as we know, both Big Kenny and John Rich are pretty firm in their genders. The internet has had some fun at their expense, but so far neither has commented on the oops.

The ACM Awards are this Sunday (4/7), and the list of performers and presenters is getting really big and really good.

Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Old Dominion, and Keith Urban have been added to the performance lineup that already includes reigning Entertainer of the Year and this year’s Dick Clark Artist of the Decade winner Jason Aldean, along with Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Brandi Carlile, Eric Church, Kelly Clarkson, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Khalid, Miranda Lambert, LANCO, Little Big Town, Ashley McBryde, Reba McEntire, Maren Morris, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, George Strait and Carrie Underwood.

If that list isn’t enough for you, check out the collaborations that will be happening on the show:

The presenting of awards to the winners will be done by artists and actors that include Lauren Alaina, Beth Behrs, Clint Black, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Jessie James Decker, Hunter Hayes, Jay Hernandez, Lady Antebellum, Midland, Nancy O’Dell, Danica Patrick, Carly Pearce, Dennis Quaid, Michael Ray, Cole Swindell, and Wilmer Valderrama.

And once again, the legendary Reba McEntire will host.

You can listen to all the nominated artists and songs, hear artist reactions to their nominations, stories behind the songs and more on Slacker’s ACM Awards 2019 here.

And after the show, head back to that station to hear the winners, show highlights and the songs performed on the awards!

The ACM Awards are still a couple weeks away – April 7th, to be exact – but three lucky acts will show up in Las Vegas already knowing they’re the winners in at least one category. Female Artist of the Year nominee (and 14-time ACM winner) Carrie Underwood had the honor of calling the winners in each of the new artist categories.

Ashley McBryde was obviously shocked when she found she was the (100% well-deserved) ACM New Female Artist of the Year. She may or may not have uttered an expletive when Carrie told her.

When Carrie called the guys in LANCO, they were happy to stop their soundcheck to find out they were named ACM New Group of the Year (for which they were nominated last year, too). They also asked the obvious questions: how did Carrie Underwood get their number, and “does this mean we get tickets to the show?”

And Luke Combs got Carrie’s call about his New Male Artist win, well, he was in the middle of making a delicious breakfast treat.

You can see bits of each of their videos below or get the full videos on their Instagrams:

Congrats to all the winners!

It doesn’t matter what you see on social media, or what you believe to be true about someone you think looks better than you. You just don’t know what any other person is going through.

Carrie Underwood just had her second baby in January, which definitely takes a toll on a body. And that toll has had Carrie struggling to appreciate her body, even with all the miraculous stuff it’s done.

Carrie posted a selfie on Instagram, and described how hard she’s been on herself lately for not being able to run as fast or lift as heavy in the gym as she could a year ago, before she was pregnant. But then, she points out, her body has belonged to baby Jacob for the past 11 months, not her. First it was his home, and now it’s where his nourishment comes from.

So, as she prepares for her Cry Pretty World Tour, Carrie has made a promise to herself. She says, “I make a promise to start appreciating what my body CAN do and stop focusing on what it can’t. I promise to stop analyzing every angle and every curve and every pound and every meal. I’m going to keep staying the path because it’s a journey and as long as I’m always working towards my goals, one day I’ll reach them. I’m going to take it day by day, smile at the girl in the mirror, and work out because I love this body and all it has done and will continue to do!”

I feel like that’s a lead we should all be following.

Let’s face it: no matter how healthy a lifestyle you live, sometimes your body doesn’t cooperate and things go wrong. Which is why making sure you get checked out at least once a year is so important.

Just ask Lindsay Ell, who went in for her annual check-up assuming that, because she’s a health nut, everything would be a-ok and she’d get back to her regularly scheduled life. Not so fast, though. Her doctor saw something concerning, which turned into a test, which turned into a biopsy, which turned into surgery. She’s fine, and her doctors made it clear she did not have cancer, but what they found were pre-cancerous cells. If she hadn’t gone in, that could have turned into a life threatening situation.

So, Lindsay has used her web series “What The Ell” to document her whole experience from start to finish and use that to encourage you not to put off your annual check-up. So watch it here, and then go call your doc, ok?
