Aaaaaaand WE'RE BACK! Hopefully I didn't keep you waiting too long for the thrilling conclusion to this past weekend's events. What happened this past weekend, you ask? Well it was only the biggest social media event of the year, duh! SOCIAL GLOVES: Battle of the Platforms touched down in Miami Gardens and shook the city to its core with the bout of the century: TikTokers vs. YouTubers in a truly unparalleled match-up. Excited yet?

When we left off, DDG had just laid down the PAIN on Nate Wyatt, and things were edging more and more in Team YouTube's favor. Team TikTok needed a miracle.

Enter the underdog: Vinnie Hacker, the scrappiest 18-year old this side of the Pacific Ocean, as he prepared to square off against the comedy gamer himself, Deji Olatunji. To the surprise of EVERYONE (except for his legion of screaming fangirls), TikTok's favorite pretty boy took the dub in just three rounds. Of course, outside of the smack-talk, both fighters were respectful and kind to each other. Once the adrenaline wears off, we're all just human, and Hacker proved to be an excellent sport.

After Hacker spelled disaster for Deji, I was left wondering: Could Team TikTok turn it around? Thankfully, rap trio MIGOS delivered an excellent rendition of their latest hit single "Straightenin" to quell the masses. While the audience was hyped up, I was biting my nails ringside as Tayler Holder and AnesonGib emerged, ready for the penultimate bout.

An UNBELIEVABLE 5 rounds followed, with Gib acting as the dark horse for Team YouTube, delivering blow after blow to Holder. However, this bout brought about one of the evening's biggest upsets: Gib and Holder finished their bout in a draw. Gib and Holder were both clearly upset, and within the past few days, the International Sports Karate Association (ISKA) has finalized their decision in favor of Gib. At the time though, fans were upset, and the true nature of the evening was settling in: we're about to reach our final fight of the night.

Lil Baby kept fans hungry as he performed a selection of his new tracks and big hits, including "Drip Too Hard", and before long, the house was in hushed anticipation as captain TikTok, the digital bad boy whose name was on everybody's lips, Bryce Hall himself stepped out. He seemed relaxed, confident, and ready for war. That was, of course, until his opponent, ACE Family head honcho and captain of Team YouTube Austin McBroom launched himself onstage. His brother Landon and Lil Baby, as well as the rest of his posse, joined Austin as he made his way to the ring. Clad in black robes with orange fur, Austin was the epitome of excellence. Hard Rock Stadium was about to explode, and a year's worth of smack talk, bottle throwing, press conference brawling and social media slander paid off with the first ringing of the bell.

The final bout of the night culminated in 3 fantastic rounds of high-intensity boxing, and by the end, Bryce Hall seceded to Austin McBroom. This final showdown, a year in the making, went to Team YouTube. Austin, in a blaze of glory, kissed his wife Catherine, and squashed whatever remaining beef existed between him and Bryce. Smiles and hugs all around, good vibes!

However...this may not be the end. After the fight Austin was quick to say he'll fight again: "I think everyone knows his name, I'm not gonna say his name or call him out, we're gonna let the fans decide what they want, and I guarantee you I'm gonna fight again!" Not even a full day ago, Bryce posted on TikTok, showing off his shiner, and hand gesturing "0 - 1", possibly implying a scorecard that may need future updating. If both men are planning on fighting again, each other or other opponents, it's too soon to tell.

BUT, it's not too soon to tell YOU that it was an incredible weekend. Leading up to this moment, bad blood was clear to exist, but we can see now that these guys have nothing but respect for each other. Who knows? Maybe we'll see some casual, friendly sparring in the near future. Or better yet, Team TikTok may seek redemption. Either way, thanks for tuning in. Aaron, out. SOCIAL GLOVES 2 COMING SOON!!!!

Hello everyone! Aaron here, reporting live from my bedroom after the comedown of a truly EPIC weekend in Miami Gardens. If you haven't been keeping up with the blog until now, I'm coming down from the high that was SOCIAL GLOVES: Battle of the Platforms, the once-in-a-lifetime bout between the biggest YouTubers and TikTokers in the world. Now I know what you're probably thinking: What crazy antics did I miss while I was stuck at home and couldn't be there? Well, I'm here to tell you!

My Saturday started with pulling up to Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, with the impeccably hard-working LiveXLive social media team. It was a typically hot day in sunny south Florida, but the stadium felt even HOTTER with the heat of tension dominating the air. Even during the sound check, with host Charlamagne tha God broadcasted on every screen, the anticipation hung heavy. After Friday's Weigh-In, no one knew what awaited us that night during the actual bouts, but it's undeniable that we were all excited. And then the rain started.

If you're unfamiliar with soFlo weather patterns, just know that there's a tendency for quick and heavy rain to bring foreboding, and then quickly dissipate once the heat breaks. While me and my team kept our eyes on everything backstage, helping Press get their credentials and keeping you all informed on socials, the stormclouds of war were rolling in, and we all waited with bated breath. But then, as the clock struck 7:30, it began. During the Free-to-Air portion of the evening, fighters Kale Saurage and Ryan Johnston brought the noise, providing the viewers with a first bout of the evening that set the stage for everything else to POP. OFF.

Ryan Johnston bested Kale Saurage with a TOTAL KNOCK-OUT in the fifth round, as Team YouTube took their first victory. Rapper Trippie Redd was quick to follow, performing his hit rager "Dark Knight Dummo" and  getting the audience absolutely ravenous for more. The bout between Ben Azelart and Landon McBroom was next, and after 3 rounds, McBroom cemented another win for Team YouTube. As DJ Khaled took the stage with Fat Joe, and the hit "All I Do is Win" was on the lips of everyone present, it seemed like the evening could be a lock for Team YouTube.

Michael Le and FaZe Clan's own FaZe Jarvis entered the ring as the first bout of the main event, and after only 2 rounds, Le was on the floor. Naturally, all of FaZe Clan was there to congratulate and hug Jarvis, and the smile on his face after the victory was contagious. Things were reaching a boiling point, and FAST. Another win for Team YouTube...was this about to be a sweep?

Female MC Latto brought some hot girl energy with her songs "Muwop" and "B*tch From the South", and while her energy was infectious and fiery, it was the perfect cooldown before the next bout: Nate Wyatt vs. DDG. DDG's track "Patience" with Coi Leray is dominating on TikTok right now, but he brought the flames for Team YouTube. Nate Wyatt repped Team TikTok, and their fight was viciously intense. Both fighters provided the audience with an unreal 5 rounds, and in the end DDG took the dub. More and more YouTube NFT coins made the flip from silver to gold as they racked up wins, and fans were on the edge of their seat. Could Team TikTok still come out victorious? Who could pull through and secure a win for them? WHO WOULD END UP WITH THE BRAGGING RIGHTS??????

I know you folks at home are DYING to know how the rest of the evening played out, so I'll be back soon with the rest of the event's run-down. Don't worry, you're not gonna miss the finishing blow! See you soon for the recap!

Am I hyperventilating or just excited? Folks, today is the day. The event we've been waiting a YEAR for. That's right, tonight is the world premiere of SOCIAL GLOVES: Battle of the Platforms, and what a day for it! As we speak, members of all of our teams are riding back and forth between Seminole Hard Rock and Hard Rock Stadium, finalizing all of the tech specs; I got to see a sneak peak of the stadium and it looks INSANE!

The show starts at 7 PM tonight, but don't worry, we're bringing more than just some epic beef-squashing fights. We will also be bringing YOU (yes, you) fantastic performances from the biggest names in hip-hop: headlining spots from DJ KHALED, LIL BABY, MIGOS, and LATTO! Psst...rumor has it TRIPPIE REDD and POLO G will be making guest appearances.

Do you want something a little more personal to the fighters? Austin McBroom, headlining fighter and captain of the YouTube team, has linked with LiveXLive to provide us with a personally-curated station of his favorite hype-up anthems. If you've been searching for your next workout playlist, look no further!!

The time is fast-approaching, and we are less than 10 HOURS AWAY from touchdown...uhh, I mean, SMACKDOWN. I'll be reporting to you from the ringside, ready to pounce on any epic moments I know you'll want to hear.

If you wanna get in on the action for yourself, you can still secure a Pay-Per-View Package through LiveXLive, or check out TicketMaster for in-person tickets for the event at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens. If you see me, gimme a wave, and then throw ya gloves up! It's game day, let's rock 'n' roll!!!

Ladies and gentlemen! The time is fast approaching for SOCIAL GLOVES: BATTLE OF THE PLATFORMS. Yes, in bold and all caps this time because I'm PUMPED. And if you aren't, then you should be!

Today I had the pleasure of witnessing the free-to-view Social Gloves weigh-in, the fateful moment when fighters from both sides flexed, talked smack, and flexed some more. So many people tuned into the livestream, but we had a near FULL HOUSE at Hard Rock Live. A theatre seating nearly 7,000 evenly divided along strict social media lines. The roar of the crowd, on both the TikTok and YouTube sides, was thunderous. And the tension between fighters felt like thunder: fast and deadly. These guys are out for blood.

Hosts Fousey and Keemstar did an unreal job of keeping the energy high and the tension low for the audience and the fighters respectively. That was, until the headlining fighters, Bryce Hall and Austin McBroom took to the stage. As the two squared off, you would need a chainsaw to cut the tension in the air. It almost seemed like the two of them were gonna start sparring right then and there.

Of course, the high intensity hit just below a fever pitch, and before things could get ugly, the weigh-in was over! Bryce and Austin had a massive fan meet-and-greet, and soon after that the party moved to DAER at Seminole Hard Rock for a roof top party, south Florida style.

LiveXLive's own news outlet LiveZone held it down with fighter interviews, and HollyWire's Chelsea Briggs did an outstanding job as the segment's host.Everyone from DDG to Michael Le to even Austin himself showed up. FaZe Jarvis was even there interacting and cracking jokes with some of his younger fans!

All of the smack talk and intensity is starting to boil over, and it will finally pay off TOMORROW NIGHT when S-S-S-S-S-S-SOOOOOOOOOOCIAL GLOOOOOOOOOVES goes live. As I'm typing this, our production team is over at Hard Rock Stadium putting the finishing touches on the lights, music, and all the other odds-and-ends to make sure this show looks and sounds the best it can. All around Seminole Hard Rock the buzz is growing, and after a day like today, it's only up from here.

If YOU (yes, you) wanna get in on the action, don't forget to buy your tickets! You can still purchase in-person tickets for tomorrow night's event at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, through TicketMaster, OR secure yourself a Pay-Per-View Package. This is something you don't want to miss.

It's gonna be an unbelievably exciting couple of days, and new things are happening by the hour. Keemstar is sitting down with Bryce Hall and Austin McBroom, our headliners, tonight at 9 on his YouTube page Drama Alert, and you (yes, you again) can tune in for the fighter weigh-in tomorrow morning. SOCIAL GLOVES: Battle of the Platforms is now only 3 days away! And with the tension progressively reaching a fever pitch, the fighters are getting pumped. Case in point: the LiveXLive minute-long fighter interviews.

Over the past week, the Social Gloves fighters have sat down for brief interviews discussing the competition, talking smack, and revealing some unique bits of insider info.

When talking about his previous interactions with Bryce Hall, headliner and YouTube pack leader Austin McBroom said "People don't know that he (Bryce) came to my social celebrity basketball event, sitting front row. He got VIP passes and the meet & greet...he's been my biggest fan for years."

Bryce Hall, TikTok star and headliner opposite McBroom, had differing sentiments to offer.

"I think this beef is gonna go on for a while," says Hall, "even after I drop him. I'm just gonna play that clip over and over again of him getting dropped."
